Sierra Backcountry Hut Prints
Each hut print was created to express the visual intrigue of the Sierra Club operated backcountry huts within the Sierra Nevada of Northern California seeking to raise awareness about the backcountry hut experience. The Backcountry Hut Prints is an art project created by OLAB – a multidisciplinary design practice located in Truckee, CA. Each print was illustrated and screen printed in two-colors at Gray’s Cabin, Truckee’s original toll station est. 1858.
*Prints do not come with frames. We recommend the reclaimed wood frames made by Alibi Interiors.

Tram Face Palisades Tahoe
This piece was hand illustrated by nationally awarded illustrator/designer Georgia Clark using just pen & ink and then transposed into a silkscreen art print in metallic bronze and black by designer Matt Chappell at olab HQ in historic Gray’s Cabin. This series is part of a studio driven art project titled “Sweet Little Nothing’s” created by OLAB to break free from our typical project work flow and to experiment through collaboration. Each print was illustrated and screen printed at Gray’s Cabin, Truckee’s original toll station est. 1858.
